Anthony Capretta was there for me when I needed help

To the Editor:

I want to thank my councilman, Anthony Capretta, for returning my phone call and helping me with an emergency this past winter. A city snow plow accidentally ran over and buried my cable box, located on the tree lawn. The cable company refused to send a technician out to my home because the cable box was buried under snow. They told me it was my responsibility as the homeowner to dig it out and make access for them to make any repairs.

Meanwhile, my cable and Internet was out. I called the City of Brunswick and they said they could not help me because there were not enough resources. Next, I called Councilman Capretta. He returned my phone call right away and offered to help me by stopping by my house himself. When Councilman Capretta saw how deep the snow was he brought another Council person to help. They found the damaged cable box and made a clear access for the cable company to come out and restore my cable and Internet service. Councilman Capretta offered me excellent customer service!
