To the Editor:

I have the pleasure of serving with Councilman Anthony P. Capretta. In the past 14 years, Capretta has proven his worth to the people of Ward 4 and Brunswick. Capretta has advocated child safety when he was chairman of the Safety and Environment Committee. It was he who introduced greater restrictions to the sexual predator residence laws and fostered the first criminal code in Brunswick that keeps registered sex offenders away from places our children congregate.

Capretta makes the greatest effort to personally meet with every resident in his ward. He works tirelessly to see his residents do not have to ask who represents them on City Council. Anthony P. Capretta is a doer, not a talker, and should continue to be Ward 4’s city councilman.
